Help Red get a new skin to find his forever family!
Red was brought into Memphis Animal Services as a stray. He was underweight and covered with black crusts over much of his body. Skin scrape was positive for demodex, which was treated. He also tested HW+. Everyone at MAS liked him very much. The medical notes repeatedly mention his friendly and happy personality. But no one would take him with his many problems, so after three weeks he was put on the kill list. We saved him, and took him to Berclair.
The demodex mites are gone, but he's also suffering from a stubborn yeast skin infection, which is being treated with frequent medicinal baths and anti fungal drugs. All this complicates treating the HW. Meanwhile, everyone at Berclair, where he is boarding and being treating, adores this boy. With love, time and money, this boy will have a healthy heart and beautiful bright fur to match his lovable character.
DONATE TODAY TO HELP RED. THIS IS URGENT! IF WE WAIT ANY LONGER TO FIND A CURE FOR RED'S SKIN, HEARTWORM WILL BECOME A LIFE THREATENING CONDITION!
Thank you so much for your support :)
